Requirements
Must:
- Strong Java backend development skills, ideally including Spring Boot
- Front end experience with Angular or other JavaScript framework
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL
- Understanding of microservices, TDD / BDD, SOLID design principles, DevOps, CI/CD
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
- Ability to take ownership of projects
- SC Clearance (or ability to achieve it, must be a British citizen with the past 5 years continually based in the UK)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop client-based features and enhancements
- Work across the full technology stack on confidential projects
- Utilize technology with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
- Engage in practices such as TDD and adhere to SOLID design principles
- Collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, and DevOps teams
- Participate in a hands-on role within a scaling technology company
Description
We are a technology company specializing in software solutions for the defence and civil aviation sector. Our team works collaboratively in a supportive, diverse environment. We offer a salary of up to £80k, a performance-based bonus, a pension plan with a 5% contribution, and a training budget. Additionally, you can work abroad for four weeks per year and participate in five charity days each year. You will have the flexibility to work from home with occasional meet-ups in our Guildford office.
