Requirements
Must:
- Advanced Linux systems administration and platform engineering experience
- In-depth knowledge of high-performance analysis, tuning, and optimization across Linux kernel, hardware, network, and storage performance
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving high-complexity system issues, optimizing performance and reliability
- Proficiency in coding with Python or Golang
- Strong understanding of DevOps tooling, CI/CD, GitLab, Jenkins, and infrastructure observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Experience within a financial services or big tech environment with large-scale systems
- Collaborative mindset with technical leadership skills and experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with research and trading teams to focus on Linux-based systems
- Design and implement workload scheduling
- Manage systems at large scale
- Design and operate high-performance file systems
- Oversee software design and life cycle (SDLC)
- Tune kernel and network performance for low-latency and high-throughput applications
- Collect instrumentation and telemetry data
- Stay abreast of industry trends and make strategic recommendations
