- Advanced Linux systems administration and platform engineering experience.
- In-depth knowledge of high-performance analysis, tuning, and optimization across Linux kernel tuning, hardware optimization, network performance, and storage performance.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving high-complexity system issues while optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Proficiency in coding with Python or Golang.
- Strong understanding of DevOps tooling, CI/CD, GitLab, Jenkins, and infrastructure observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Background in a financial services or big tech environment with large-scale systems.
- Collaborative mindset with technical leadership skills and experience.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with research and trading teams focusing on Linux-based systems.
- Design and implement workload scheduling for large-scale systems.
- Manage high-performance file system design and operation.
- Oversee software design and lifecycle (SDLC).
- Tune kernel and network performance for low-latency and high-throughput applications.
- Collect instrumentation and telemetry data.
- Stay updated on industry trends and make strategic recommendations.
- Engage in the development and maintenance of high-performance trading and research infrastructure.
