Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of modern, cloud-first software engineering best practices
- Strong hands-on technical background in cloud-first architectures, distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and secure SDLC
- Proven technical leadership skills with experience in setting technical direction and making challenging decisions constructively
- Experience building and scaling engineering teams across multiple geographical locations
- Experience delivering AI-enabled capabilities in production
- Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and create alignment
- Strong business acumen to balance value, cost, risk, and long-term sustainability
Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction for digital products, platforms, and integrations
- Ensure systems are scalable, reusable, and clearly owned
- Establish modern engineering standards across the full SDLC, including CI/CD, automated testing, observability, API design, security, and operational readiness
- Lead architecture and design reviews while driving continuous improvement in delivery speed, quality, and reliability
- Define service expectations, KPIs, and reliability targets with end-to-end accountability for engineering domains
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, AI, and Operations to translate business priorities into clear engineering roadmaps
- Guide stakeholders on feasibility and trade-offs and own delivery outcomes
- Champion innovation and be responsible for AI adoption and improving developer productivity through better tooling and automation
- Manage 5-6 Technical/Team Leads, developing talent and creating clear career pathways
