Requirements
Must:
- Degree educated with a 2.1 or above in a relevant discipline (e.g. Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics, or Engineering)
- Strong experience with analytics and data manipulation software (e.g. R, Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL, SPSS)
- Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments
- Consultative approach with polished communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects end-to-end
- Experience working in specialized consulting firms or top-tier banking/financial institutions
Responsibilities
- Manage data projects end-to-end, from gathering client requirements to project delivery
- Liaise closely with clients primarily in finance, banking, and wealth management
- Oversee the work of data analysts to ensure high-quality project deliverables
- Conduct primary and secondary research to address information limitations
- Produce insights from data analysis and model creation
