Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with experience in a similar senior Data Engineer position.
- I seek individuals who have expertise in re-architecting and engineering data pipelines and services.
- A deep knowledge of SQL and Python is essential.
- Strong hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines in cloud-based environments using tools such as DBT, AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation, Apache Spark, and Amazon Redshift is required.
- A good understanding of data modeling, ELT design patterns, data governance, and security best practices is necessary.
- Collaboration and strong communication skills are vital for the role.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead a significant data re-architecture project, making critical data architecture decisions that empower the entire business, including product, analytics, customer intelligence, and commercial growth.
- You will collaborate closely with the business and Data Analysts to expand and re-engineer the data pipelines, building new scalable services within a modern cloud-based (AWS) environment.
- You will contribute to a culture of software engineering excellence, fostering a collaborative team environment that values knowledge sharing and continual improvement.
