Requirements
Must:
- Strong backend Python development skills, ideally including FastAPI
- Experience with AWS, including Amazon CDK
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles
- Full software development lifecycle experience
- Good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
- Experience working directly with clients and taking ownership of bespoke development work
- Good business acumen, particularly in start-ups or SMEs
- Proactive and eager to contribute to the product
- Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
- Active Github account and/or personal projects (ideal)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients and take ownership of bespoke projects end-to-end
- Build cloud-based applications/systems using Python and AWS
- Work independently and make technical decisions
- See quick results from your work
- Engage in greenfield development work
Description
We are a profitable technology scale-up based in Central Manchester, producing a software suite for legal firms that massively reduces para-legal workloads. Our team is small but growing, and we offer flexibility in working from home for two days a week. As a Python Developer / Consultant, you will play an impactful role with excellent career progression opportunities as we scale. We provide a competitive salary of up to £80k, 25 days of holiday, and a pension.
