Requirements
Must:
- Strong Product Management skills with experience in internal platform products (e.g., data platforms, developer tools, infrastructure)
- Experience driving user adoption
- Strong technical background with an understanding of data architecture and workflows
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear user problems and requirements
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and driving alignment without direct authority
- Practical experience with AWS (core services, IAM/security, networking concepts, cost control, observability)
- Strong working knowledge of Databricks, Data Lakehouse concepts, and Python literacy
- Advanced stakeholder management and business relationship skills
- Strong software engineering skills with technologies such as Elixir, Rust, Scala, Ruby, or Python in a SaaS environment
- Good knowledge of AWS
- Ability to conduct code reviews and provide coaching and mentoring
- Effective communication skills to influence others and explain complex technical information
- Delivery focused with experience managing technical projects
- Good commercial acumen
- Degree educated in a technical or scientific discipline, Computer Science preferred
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy for the Data Platform
- Collaborate closely with internal data users to understand their pain points
- Transform user pain points into a structured product roadmap
- Define the vision, principles, and prioritization approach for the product
- Partner with the Head of Data Platform to ensure consistent product delivery
- Collaborate with engineering teams on technical trade-offs and designs
- Champion a product mindset within the team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
