Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess strong software development skills in C# .Net, SQL Server, and AWS (or other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP). While we do not require hands-on coding for this position, a solid technical development background is essential. Additionally, we seek individuals with experience in solution and technical design for multi-tier, distributed scalable .Net solutions, as well as a strong knowledge of event-driven microservices. Advanced technical documentation skills are a must, along with excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
As a Product Architect, you will collaborate with Product Management and Agile software delivery teams to define, design, document, and communicate the technical architecture for new products and features, with a strong focus on scalability and reliability, particularly in payment systems. You will act as a liaison between the Professional Services team and Lead Software Engineers to agree on technical solutions that meet business needs and drive improvements. Initially, your role will involve assessing the current architecture, identifying technical debt, and recommending architecture improvements to create a technical strategy and roadmap for the next 6-18 months. Furthermore, you will help foster an innovative, collaborative, and inclusive environment, aiming to optimize architecture for flexibility, reuse, scalability, performance, durability, and availability.

This role offers the opportunity to work predominantly from home, with occasional meetings in our Nottingham office, typically once a month or quarter.
