Must:
I am looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) that encompasses a mix of infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud-native skills. You should have experience with hypervisors, specifically Hyper-V within Nutanix clusters, as well as Virtual Machine provisioning, live migration, cloning, snapshots, and Disaster Recovery within HCI environments. A proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and network layers is essential. You should also possess technical leadership and mentoring skills, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and business stakeholders. Great communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and enhancing the infrastructure that powers our fast-growing retail brokerage business, ensuring its reliability and efficiency. You will take the lead in designing secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure, which includes on-premise, cloud, and hybrid solutions. Collaborating closely with software engineers, DevOps, and SRE teams, you'll align infrastructure with application requirements and define infrastructure standards across various teams. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and guidance on Nutanix HCI, managing several thousand virtual machines, and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
