Requirements
Must:
- I have experience in a similar Technical Support, Desktop Support, or Service Desk role.
- I possess a strong knowledge of the Microsoft tech stack including Office 365, Intune, EntraID, Power Platform, Azure, Windows Server, and Windows Desktop.
- I am collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- I have experience working similar night shift patterns.
Responsibilities
- I will provide comprehensive support to clients, addressing the full range of technical issues from Tier 1 through to more complex Tier 2 resolutions.
- I will act as the primary contact for clients, delivering support via Teams, Google Meet, email, and the ticketing system, with full ownership of issues until they are resolved.
- I will carry out administration tasks on M365, Power Platform, Intune, EntraID, Windows Server, Windows Desktops, and Active Directory, while maintaining clear and concise documentation.
- I will identify recurring issues and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
- I will dedicate around 20% of my time to learning through training modules and gaining certifications.
Description
I am excited to join a growing software and technology consultancy as a Microsoft Technical Support Engineer, with a salary of up to £45k. This position requires me to work evening and weekend shifts, covering 1600 to 0030 from Monday to Wednesday, and day shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 0830 to 1700. Since this is primarily an out-of-hours support role, I will be able to work from home most of the time, with occasional meetings at the office, provided I am commutable within the Manchester/Liverpool area.
