Requirements
Must:
- PhD in a relevant discipline such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Artificial Intelligence
- At least two published research papers on Machine Learning, Statistics, or optimization in prestigious conferences (e.g. NeurIPS, AISTATS, ICML)
- Experience in applying research to real-world problems
- Advanced knowledge of decision-making techniques including Bayesian optimisation, bandits, reinforcement learning, and active learning
- Familiarity with probabilistic modeling and methods such as Gaussian processes and Bayesian neural networks
- Proficiency in Python numerical programming (e.g. NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Interest in the automotive sector and sustainability (preferable)
Responsibilities
- Develop independent research programs to create new tools and techniques for probabilistic models and Bayesian optimisation
- Engage in team collaborations to achieve research goals
- Report research findings internally and externally
- Contribute research to product development and customer projects
- Contribute to the companys open source libraries
