Requirements
Must:
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of Machine Learning foundations
- Experience in applying Machine Learning techniques to solve real-world problems
- Proficiency in Python, including TensorFlow and PyTorch frameworks
- Strong foundations in probabilistic modelling (Gaussian processes, Bayesian methods, uncertainty quantification)
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients
- Proactive problem solver, knowing when to seek assistance from domain experts, researchers, and engineers
Responsibilities
- Build ML capabilities that power our product
- Collaborate with the research team to productionise innovative ideas
- Evaluate and integrate established methods or develop new algorithms
- Ensure reliability and maintainability within a complex, integrated codebase
- Liaise with clients to understand engineering problems our product can address
- Guide clients through new workflows and diagnose complex issues
- Analyze problems related to data quality, unexpected model behavior, configuration, or bugs
- Shape product direction by balancing ML research insights with customer needs and practical production requirements
