Requirements
Must:
- I have strong Python backend development skills.
- I possess experience with AWS, including Amazon CDK.
- I have provided technical leadership and guidance, successfully running projects and ensuring delivery.
- I have full software development lifecycle experience and a solid understanding of modern software engineering best practices.
- I have good business acumen and experience working in start-ups or SMEs.
- I hold a degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- As a Lead Software Engineer, I will join a small technology team and take ownership of backend development work.
- I will provide technical leadership across a range of projects.
- I will collaborate with Front End Engineers using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- I will influence technical decision-making and see the results of my work quickly.
Description
I am looking for a challenging role as a Lead Software Engineer at a technology start-up in Manchester, where I can progress my career in a senior, hands-on leadership position. The company is developing a software suite for legal firms that significantly reduces para-legal workloads and has garnered substantial interest. I will be part of a growing team that operates three days a week in Central Manchester, with the flexibility to work from home the other two days.
In return for my contributions, I will receive a competitive salary of up to £100k, along with 25 days of holiday and a pension.
