Requirements
Must:
- Strong backend development skills with Node.js
- Good knowledge of financial markets
- Experience designing and implementing scalable solutions for high throughput systems
- Advanced Node.js (including Node.js Event Loop) and JavaScript coding skills
- Ownership of high-profile projects
- Experience with event-driven systems and messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and Redis
- Familiarity with UNIX based systems for development and deployment
- Strong appreciation of DevOps principles including secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment
- Degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across various technical teams to solve complex backend challenges
- Design, build, and optimize systems to handle high volume real-time market data streams
- Work with clients and business stakeholders to understand requirements and business impact
