Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for an experienced backend-focused Software Engineer with strong object-oriented programming skills (e.g., Java, C++).
- Ideally, I have commercial experience with Rust and/or Golang, although I can pick this up on the job.
- I have experience engineering complex, low-latency, real-time solutions.
- I have a background in mentoring and providing technical leadership and enjoy developing and coaching others.
- I possess a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Data Structures, Design Patterns, OOP, and multithreading.
- I have full software development lifecycle experience.
- I possess advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- As a Lead Software Engineer, I will split my time between architecture, design, hands-on coding, mentoring, team leadership, and strategy.
- I will collaborate with Product Managers and other technical team leads, contributing to strategy and ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality real-time software.
- I will work within a tech stack based on low-latency Rust and Golang with a React front end.
