Requirements
Must:
- Skilled Python Developer with team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
- Full SDLC experience
- Team leadership experience, including mentoring and conducting performance reviews
- Knowledge of cloud-based services (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable)
- Experience building APIs, ideally with FastAPI
- Good understanding of CI/CD, testing, and deployment
- Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms
- Collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
- Degree in a STEM discipline with a 2.1 or above
Responsibilities
- Lead a small, talented tech team to deliver new features and enhancements
- Refactor and contribute to the core banking platform
- Collaboratively problem-solve in a hands-on role
- Maintain a 50/50 split between architecture/design and people management
- Set standards and mentor junior developers
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-development
