Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in a Platform Engineer, DevOps Lead or SRE position with ownership of the end-to-end platform
- In-depth hands-on experience with AWS, including multi-account strategies
- Strong knowledge of IaC, ideally AWS CDK (or Terraform)
- Experience designing and operating container platforms (e.g. ECS / Fargate, Kubernetes)
- Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures
- Experience building and operating CI/CD systems at scale
- Strong experience with cloud security, audit and compliance controls
- Designing for observability, resilience, and operational excellence
- Collaborative and pragmatic, with great communication skills
Responsibilities
- Act as the design authority for the platform and hosting framework
- Work closely with software engineering teams, Data Platform Lead, Quality Engineering Lead, and Enterprise Architect
- Design, build, and evolve the platform
- Make pragmatic decisions ensuring security while promoting operational excellence
- Lead a small, high-impact platform team, operating as an enablement function
- Ensure the platform is secure by default, observable by default, and fast to deploy to and use
