Requirements
Must:
- Strong Java backend development skills, ideally including Spring Boot
- Front end experience with Angular or another JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Vue)
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL
- Good understanding of microservices, TDD/BDD, SOLID design principles, DevOps, CI/CD
- Collaborative and pragmatic, willing to take ownership and work with others
- Degree in Computer Science or closely related STEM discipline
- Must have SC Clearance or the ability to achieve it (British citizen with the past 5 years continually based in the UK)
- Experience with Palantir Foundry is desirable but not essential
Responsibilities
- Design and develop client-based features and enhancements
- Work across the full technology stack on confidential projects
- Use a range of technology with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
- Apply TDD and SOLID design principles in a collaborative, diverse team environment
- Collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, and DevOps teams
- Contribute to code reviews and best practices within the development team
