Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in leading design for consumer digital products at scale
- Proven portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, behaviour change, and shipped commercial impact
- Experience in guiding, mentoring, and coaching other designers while remaining hands-on
- Ability to evolve and scale the design system to become a core asset
- User experience skills in research, insight, and behavioural understanding
- Proficient in Figma and contemporary design tools
- Comfortable with AI and exploring emerging technologies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the design function to shape the quality and coherence of digital experiences
- Bring all digital design in-house and build a team around you
- Set up design systems within an established brand
- Own design as a strategic function to drive vision, capability, systems, and culture
- Formulate strategy and direction for the design system for global scalability
- Build long-term design capability through hiring standards, coaching, and progression expectations
Description
We are a hugely successful health and wellness company looking for a Head of Digital Design to enhance our B2C digital environments. In this senior, hands-on role, you will work based in our London office three days a week with the flexibility to work from home twice a week. We offer a comprehensive package including a salary of up to £180k, 26 days holiday, pension, gym membership, private health and dental insurance, and access to a wide range of financial services.
