Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on technical leadership skills
- Solid software engineering background with Java
- Knowledge of modern software architecture, including microservices, APIs, and Cloud technologies
- Experience with AI tools in a large commercial enterprise (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Prompt, or Context engineering)
- Strong code review skills
- Delivery-focused with an emphasis on championing client needs
Responsibilities
In my role as Engineering Manager, I lead a team of nine AI Engineers while remaining hands-on with coding. My primary focus is on utilizing Claude code and other AI tools throughout the development lifecycle—from initial requirements shaping to deployment—to enhance the speed and efficiency of software development and release.
This position is influential as my team collaborates with product engineering teams to showcase processes and procedures involving AI, ensuring quality and compliance without compromising standards. I provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to senior engineers and engage with senior stakeholders to drive improvements and innovation, fostering a high-performance engineering environment that promotes collaboration, technical mastery, and a mindset of continuous learning.
