Requirements
Must:
- First class academic record, minimum 2.1 BSc from a top-tier university in Computer Science or similar field
- Minimum AAB grades at A-level
- Commercial Data Engineering experience with SQL, Apache Spark, and Python (including PySpark and Pandas)
- Good understanding of modern data engineering best practices
- Ideally, experience with Azure and Data Bricks
- Excitement to join a start-up and influence your role
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Work closely with front office teams to define their data needs
- Contribute to the development and operation of the firms data platform
- Analyze and automate data-related processes to streamline workflows
- Build and maintain data pipelines from various external providers
- Ensure seamless integration of high-quality data into core platforms
- Curate and manage internal and external datasets for analytical and operational needs
- Design and implement best-practice data models and architectures
- Establish and enforce data standards and quality controls
