Requirements
Must:
- I seek candidates who have achieved a 2.1 or above from a top-tier university (e.g., Russell Group / Oxbridge) in Computer Science or a similar technical or numerate discipline.
- I need individuals with a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms.
- Strong C++ 14/17 development skills (on Linux or Windows) are essential.
- A good understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and solid code review skills are required.
- I value individuals who focus on delivering clean code into production.
- A good understanding of FX financial markets and experience in a finance environment is important.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- As a C++ Developer, you will design and develop full stack systems for new FX Derivatives products and connectivity to external vendors.
- You will collaborate closely with traders and quants to build the solutions they require.
- You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, including assisting with the architecture of new solutions.
- You will work with C++ 14/17 in a TDD environment and will also gain exposure to Python, TypeScript, and React.
- You will join a small, highly talented team and will be supported in progressing your career.
