Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analysis position.
- Expertise in PowerBI.
- Advanced SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
- Good understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
- End-to-end project experience, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deliverables across competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to push back when needed.
- Experience in a scaling tech company or SaaS business.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and strong commercial acumen.
- Degree educated in a numerate discipline.
Responsibilities
As the first hire within the Business Intelligence area and supported by the Head of Finance, I will oversee the implementation of the AWS Redshift Data Warehouse that has been built by a tech consultancy. I will take ownership of implementing PowerBI into the business to enable data-informed decisions that drive efficiency and revenue. In this role, I will design and develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using PowerBI to present findings clearly and concisely. I will collaborate with business stakeholders, such as marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to understand their requirements and perform detailed analyses on business data, identifying patterns, trends, and insights that can inform decision-making and strategy while focusing on growth opportunities.
