Requirements
Must:
- Strong, hands-on experience of supporting the Acturis Insurance Platform
- Experience in a 2nd line Application Support role within a complex systems environment
- Strong understanding of Application Support processes and service management frameworks
- Experience of working directly with business users and system vendors
- Ability to drive system changes, releases, and project activities
- Collaborative and pragmatic attitude with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support, diagnosing and resolving incidents
- Manage service requests and ensure system performance, availability, and data integrity
- Investigate root causes and implement long-term fixes
- Maintain accurate documentation and support ongoing system improvements
- Translate issues from business users into clear technical requirements
- Keep stakeholders informed on progress, resolutions, and system updates
- Drive system adoption and support users with queries
- Deliver training and act as a subject matter expert for Acturis
- Contribute to change and project activity, including system upgrades, UAT, data migration, and post-implementation support
- Ensure adherence to ITSM processes and support governance, risk, and compliance requirements
Description
We are a global Insurance firm based in London, offering a flexible work environment where you can collaborate with colleagues in our City office three days a week and work from home for the other two days. As an Application Support Engineer, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £75k, 24 days of holiday plus your birthday, and the option to purchase up to 5 additional days annually.
