Requirements
Must:
- 2.1 degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline from a top tier university (Russel Group or top 100 global university)
- A grades at A-level
- Experience within a finance/trading/hedge fund environment
- L2/L3 technical support experience
- Strong SQL coding skills
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics)
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control-M) and Operating Systems (Windows/Linux)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure)
- Experience with issue tracking and source control (JIRA, Git, Bitbucket)
- Capable of identifying recurring issues and proactive in addressing them
- Collaborative with excellent communication skills
- Enjoy problem solving and fixing issues
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for trading systems, assisting Quants and Traders with issues
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the product you are supporting
- Hands-on problem solving for technical issues
- Identify recurring problems and write scripts to implement fixes
- Collaborate with engineers on long-term solutions and product developments
- Ensure the technology requirements of Traders and Quants are met
