Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in a similar role, delivering and managing AWS infrastructure and services in high performance environments
- Experience with serverless and containerisation technologies: Lambda, Docker, ECS, Fargate
- Experience with CI/CD and containerisation: Terraform, GitHub Actions, Serverless Framework
- Proficiency in coding with Python, TypeScript and/or C#
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environment administration
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation for design assurance, incident response, and support
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and possess great communication skills
- Experience with Okta, Snowflake, Datadog, PostgreSQL, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, CloudFront, data networking, including AWS Transit Gateway, Cisco routing and switching technology (beneficial)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of AWS infrastructure and services
- Collaborate with technical, operational, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure and applications
- Take ownership for infrastructure and platform capabilities, seeking to improve efficiency and optimise costs
- Address technical debt and ensure comprehensive technical documentation
- Develop, maintain, and deliver business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Interact with stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Execute initial projects including database migration to AWS and an overhaul of security across the cloud estate

As an AWS Engineer, you will receive a competitive salary up to £100k, a bonus of around 20%, a pension with a 5% employer contribution, 25 days holiday (increasing to 27 after two years and 30 after), life assurance (4x base salary), and an Employee Assistance Programme.
