Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years SAN engineering experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with Dell VMAX/PowerMax, Pure, and HPE
- Cisco & Brocade SAN Switches (VSANs, ISLs, NPIV, Logical Fabrics)
- SAN protocols: FC, iSCSI, FCoE
- Storage migration tools (e.g., Cirrus or equivalent)
- Experience with SRDF, TimeFinder, Unisphere, SYMCLI, DCNM, Brocade BNA
- Automation/Scripting (Python) desirable
- Certifications (Desirable) - Dell EMC, Pure Storage, Cisco CCNP, HPE ASE
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support high-availability SAN environments
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise storage platforms
- Lead storage and SAN migration projects
- Provide 3rd-level SAN support and root cause analysis
- Work closely with network, server, and application teams
Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAN Engineer to support and deliver our enterprise storage infrastructure using technologies from Dell EMC, Pure Storage, Cisco, Brocade, and HPE. We have office bases located in London, Birmingham, Sheffield, and Edinburgh, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. This role is an umbrella contract and falls under IR35 regulations, with interviews taking place as soon as possible and a potential start date in February/March 2026.
