Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Java Core (version 8+), with a preference for Java 16.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework, particularly in developing applications using Hibernate.
- Experience with REST development within HTTPS and developing web services using RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture and distributed systems.
- Understanding and application of software design patterns.
- Experience with Agile Development Processes and CI/CD delivery techniques.
- Knowledge of source code management, specifically GIT.
- Proficiency in issue tracking systems (such as Jira) and familiarity with modeling languages like UML/SysML using Enterprise Architect or similar tools.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in web-based development.
- Experience with JSF and Java front end development is beneficial.
- Ability to self-motivate and work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to promote innovation and interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based solutions for our leading Defense organization.
- Utilize Spring Boot and Hibernate to create robust applications.
- Implement RESTful APIs and ensure efficient microservice architecture.
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality code.
- Manage source code and track issues using GIT and Jira, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and propose innovative solutions.
