Requirements
Must:
- Experienced 3rd line Infrastructure Technical Specialist
- Dual experience with traditional Infrastructure BAU support in an ITIL environment and Azure IAAS, PAAS, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows technologies (Installation, Active Directory, WDS, DNS, DHCP, DFSR, Group Policy)
- Experience with Virtualisation (VMWARE and Vsphere)
- Knowledge of IT and Cyber Security measures (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, security patching, IDP/IDS)
- Experience working as part of projects teams in delivering infrastructure and software development projects, and their transition into support for delivering CSI initiatives
- Familiarity with SAN Technologies (Storage configuration & provision, Fibre Channel connectivity & zoning)
- Self-starter with strong team player qualities and excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Manage incident and request fulfilment tickets within SLAs
- Monitor key health signs of infrastructure and respond to actual or predicted issues
- Support projects and new initiatives
- Participate in investigations and remediation of any reported Security vulnerabilities or breaches
- Implement infrastructure design and build best practices
- Create and maintain Technical Documentation
- Build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across the department and wider business
- Communicate effectively with audiences of all technical ability and understanding
Description
We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer for a 6-month contract. This hybrid-based role requires 2 days per week onsite. We offer a competitive pay rate of £550-£600 inside IR35. You will be part of a dynamic team, focused on supporting our infrastructure needs while developing your skill set in a collaborative environment.
