Requirements

Must:
- I have at least 5 years of experience managing ITIL processes in medium to large organizations. - I have a strong Major Incident Management background, with a minimum of 3 years of experience handling critical outages. - I hold an ITIL Foundation qualification. - I am familiar with ITSM/helpdesk ticketing systems. - I possess solid knowledge of IT applications and infrastructure. - I have proven experience leading crisis management and war room scenarios. - I demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills. - I can work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. - I adopt a proactive approach to continuous improvement and service assurance.

Responsibilities

- I act as the Major Incident Manager during outages, coordinating resolver teams, leading war rooms, and ensuring timely stakeholder communication. - I serve as an escalation point of contact, focusing on swift incident resolution. - I ensure that Service Requests are logged, tracked, and resolved within agreed SLAs. - I manage problem detection, investigation, and root cause analysis. - I produce and deliver monthly and ad-hoc service reports for management and stakeholders. - I create, maintain, and improve ITSM-related documentation, such as SOPs and process guides. - I review and manage IT escalations to ensure timely and effective resolution. - I support the IT Helpdesk function using ITSM tools (e.g., Halo ITSM). - I provide on-call Priority 1 support on a rota basis. - I collaborate with resolver teams to review SLA/KPI performance and identify improvements. - I ensure compliance with Information Security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
