Must:
We are seeking an IT Security Analyst with over 3 years of experience in a technical InfoSec or vulnerability analyst role. You should have proven expertise with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Microsoft Defender, Qualys, or Rapid7, along with a solid understanding of vulnerability scoring systems like CVSS v3.1. Proficiency in Linux and Windows patching procedures, as well as system hardening practices, is essential. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and Cyber Essentials, is required. You should have experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and exposure to SIEM platforms for interpreting and responding to security alerts. Additionally, experience in supporting technical security audits and familiarity with vendor risk assessments is preferred.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our IT Operations team, you will lead the full vulnerability management lifecycle, including scanning, triage, prioritization, and remediation tracking. You will analyze threats, monitor and respond to SIEM alerts, and support our Information Security Management System (ISMS). You'll communicate vulnerabilities to asset owners, track remediation efforts, and work collaboratively to embed secure practices into our operations. You will also play a significant role in conducting risk assessments and actively managing our security risk register.
