Requirements
Must:
- 1 year of 1st/2nd Line IT support experience, with the ability to work diversely.
- Experience in the Educational Sector is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and desktop support skills.
- Well-mannered, presentable, and capable of advising clients.
- Proficiency in Office 365, including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Any experience or knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra (Intune) and Google Workspace for Education.
- Knowledge of Wireless Networking (Wi-Fi, WLAN) and configuration of Wi-Fi networks.
- Desktop support experience with Windows 10, Windows 11, and familiarity with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, Active Directory, and Group Policy is desirable.
- Experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM) for iPads, Google Chromebooks, and Windows devices.
- Experience in workstation deployment (WDS, MDT, or other deployment in a large network) and networking knowledge (switching, domain environment, complex troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with Server Infrastructure including Hyper-V and VMware.
- Successful candidates must pass an Enhanced DBS check and be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support and advice to our clients at multiple sites.
- Advise clients on potential school infrastructure project work based on our SLA in Schools.
- Travel to some client sites within specific boroughs such as Greenwich, Southwark, Wandsworth, Lambeth, Croydon, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Brent, and parts of Essex may be required.
