Requirements
Must:
- Have a relevant degree in a Cyber Security related field
- Demonstrate strong technical IT skills across security tools and systems
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Be highly organised, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple tasks
- Be proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take ownership of challenges and opportunities
- Display ambition to grow their expertise and contribute to continuous improvement within the IT function
Responsibilities
- Maintaining security architecture for on-premises and cloud systems
- Overseeing vulnerability and patch management
- Managing endpoint detection and response (EDR), antivirus, email and web filtering, zero trust and network access control tools
- Aligning security architecture with CIS Controls
- Renewing Cyber Essentials Plus certification
- Assisting the IT Manager with project development tasks
Description
Founded in 1978, we are a privately owned main contractor, Clark Contracts Ltd, with operating divisions in Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Retail, Housing, and Maintenance. With over 280 employees and offices located in the East and West of Scotland, we are looking to recruit a Graduate IT Security Analyst to join our expanding IT team. This full-time permanent position offers an attractive package, including 33 days of annual leave, career progression opportunities, ongoing training, and a contributory pension scheme, alongside various employee benefits. Successful candidates can be based either from our Paisley head office or our Edinburgh Office in Newbridge.
