Requirements
Must:
- A good understanding of web and mobile application and infrastructure testing methodologies
- Proficiency in manually exploiting web application and network infrastructure vulnerabilities
- A logical and time-conscious approach to report writing
- Working knowledge of common programming languages such as C, C++, C#, and Java
- Experience with at least one scripting language such as Ruby, Python, or Perl
- Ability to deliver chargeable web application testing engagements
- Capability to provide remediation advice
- Skill in producing accurate technical reports
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines while structuring workload accordingly
- Strong problem-solving skills, helping others to understand complex ideas
Responsibilities
- Undertake web and mobile application testing and infrastructure testing engagements
- Leverage opportunities provided by Claranet to improve skills and capabilities across all testing areas
- Communicate effectively within Claranet and with clients, both orally and in writing
- Contribute to the writing and publishing of whitepapers and advisories
- Work towards obtaining CREST qualifications such as CPSA, CRT, and CCT if not already achieved
- Conduct penetration testing work outside normal office hours when necessary
- Be willing to travel for onsite work as required
- Engage in shadowing, training, and development to enhance capabilities in all areas of security testing
