Requirements
Must:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as you will communicate with corporate clients via telephone, tickets, email, and face-to-face

Responsibilities
As a Data Centre Engineer at Claranet, you will:
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware faults while installing spare components as needed
- Install and decommission managed equipment within the Data Centres and at external customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance on server and network equipment to ensure maximum uptime for customer environments
- Accept and take ownership of fault escalations from internal teams
- Provide internal and external customers with timely updates on incident progress
- Conduct regular physical checks of Data Centre facilities and assist in generating monthly statistics
- Document Data Centre equipment, service configurations, and hardware solutions
- Carry out physical checks and audits as required by the business and its customers
- Update and maintain Claranet databases after all changes to equipment or assets
