Requirements
Must:
- Development background with at least 3 years experience of designing, developing and delivering bespoke legal applications (will consider 1 year for juniors)
- Prior VisualFiles development experience
- Experience working under an Agile software development environment
- Commercial awareness and inquisitiveness to understand challenges faced by the firm and its clients
- Ability to quickly identify projects at risk and manage expectations accordingly
- Innovative mindset with willingness to experiment and explore new technology solutions
- Develop applications with security in mind, protecting data at all times
Responsibilities
- Technical development of business solutions that interface with line of business applications and customize off-the-shelf software
- Develop the case management system to ensure optimization of business efficiency and procedures
- Support integration of VisualFiles with other firm-wide packages including the practice management system
- Propose, design, and implement new systems and analyze existing systems for performance enhancement
- Assist with business process analysis to enhance and develop workflow processes
- Work closely with the Projects team to map out projects
- Build process improvement workflows across the line of business applications
- Assist others in integrating workflows into line of business applications
- Design data structures and access methods to support custom development
- Build applications for accurate management information and reporting, integrating case and financial data
