Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience operating at 3rd line level within a professional services or legal environment
- Strong infrastructure knowledge (Active Directory, SCCM, O365, networking fundamentals)
- Experience supporting legal systems (Proclaim desirable)
- Confident, customer-facing approach with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable balancing BAU support with project work
Responsibilities
- Acting as 3rd line escalation for complex support issues
- Supporting and maintaining core infrastructure (AD, SCCM, M365, cloud systems)
- Delivering high-level deskside and remote support to fee earners and support staff
- Working closely with the IT Manager and Systems Administrator on upgrades, migrations and improvement projects
- Supporting legal applications including Proclaim (basic-intermediate level)
- Supporting MS Office / M365, Mimecast, Mitel Cloud and related systems
- Ensuring tickets are progressed and resolved in line with SLAs

We are an established and well-regarded law firm based in South Manchester, looking to appoint a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing internal IT team. This is a genuinely hands-on senior support role, providing a great opportunity to step into a visible, senior technical position within a stable and well-run firm. Youll work closely with our experienced, hands-on IT Manager, who is keen to invest in the right individual and provide exposure to broader infrastructure and project responsibilities.
