Requirements
Must:
- A development background with at least 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering bespoke business applications.
- Prior experience in VisualFiles development and knowledge of legal workflows.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Commercial awareness and inquisitiveness to understand the challenges faced by the firm and its clients, allowing for the development of appropriate solutions.
- Ability to quickly identify projects that may be at risk and communicate early to manage expectations accordingly.
- An innovative mindset, with the willingness to experiment and explore new ways of delivering technology solutions.
- A commitment to developing applications with security in mind, ensuring data protection at all times.
- Familiarity with C#, VB, SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS is desirable.
- A willingness to learn new methods and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Technical development, responsible for developing business solutions that interface with the firm's line of business applications, as well as customizing and configuring off-the-shelf software.
- Development of the case management system to ensure continual optimization of business efficiency and procedures.
- Support the integration of VisualFiles with other firm-wide packages, including the practice management system.
- Propose, design, and implement new and innovative systems, and analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for streamlining and performance enhancement.
- Assist with business process analysis to enhance and develop workflow processes.
- Work closely with the Projects team to map out projects.
- Workflow and integration development, building process improvement workflows across the line of business application stack using the available platforms, and assisting others in integrating workflows into line of business applications.
- Database development, designing data structures and access methods to support any custom development.
Description

This position offers a great deal of autonomy and the starting salary is between £40,000 - £48,000, along with benefits including home working and a bonus.
