Requirements
Must:
- 5 years experience in Full Stack Development, C#.NET, JavaScript & Azure
- Proven experience in managing software development projects
- Experience with Azure functionalities, including Azure DevOps and Serverless/PaaS
- Familiarity with Azure PaaS services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Cosmos DB
- Strong DevOps & Agile experience
- Greenfield development experience with ability to translate loose requirements into solutions
- Capable of conducting low-level design work before coding
- Experience with generative AI coding tools
- Team leadership and people management experience

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Developers to drive innovation in brand-new greenfield software solution projects
- Handle technical development and software solution delivery in full stack C#/.NET, JavaScript (React), Azure serverless, etc.
- Oversee strategic initiatives such as security tooling, hackathons, and standard libraries
- Manage 4 direct reports and provide people management support
- Allocate approximately 3 days for hands-on coding each week
- Navigate matrix management structure focusing on capability versus delivery teams
- Create new solutions and introduce innovative coding ideas, techniques, and technology, particularly in AI
- Develop software using the .Net platform and Azure
- Manage code updates ensuring the quality of the codebase
- Provide technical guidance and support to other developers
Description
We are a global finance consultancy seeking a Lead Software Developer with C# .NET and Azure experience. This role allows remote working, requiring in-office presence just one day a month in central London. You will be managing a team of 4 developers within a Labs team focusing on greenfield development. This position offers a competitive salary between £80,000 - £90,000, private medical insurance, and an excellent pension plan. We are dedicated to innovation, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative environment within our wider software engineering team of 25.
