Requirements
Must:
- 5 years experience in Full Stack Development, C#.NET, JavaScript & Azure, building solutions as a Senior or Lead
- Experience with Azure functionalities, including Azure DevOps and Serverless/PaaS focus
- Familiarity with container work in AI Labs Azure PaaS (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Cosmos DB)
- DevOps & Agile experience
- Greenfield development experience, including translating loose requirements into solutions
- Low-level design work expected before coding
- Experience with Generative AI coding tools
- Team lead / People management experience

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Developers to drive innovation on greenfield software solution projects
- Technical development & Software solution delivery using full stack C#/.NET, JavaScript (React), and Azure serverless
- Evaluate strategic initiatives, including security tooling, hackathons, and standard libraries
- Manage 4 direct reports
- Split coding responsibilities approximately 3 days hands-on per week
- Navigate through a matrix management structure focusing on capability vs delivery teams
- Create new solutions and introduce innovative coding ideas, techniques, and technologies, especially around AI
- Develop software using the .NET platform and Azure
- Manage code updates and ensure the quality of the codebase
- Provide technical guidance and support to other developers
Description
We are a global finance consultancy seeking a Lead Software Developer with C# .NET and Azure experience. This position allows for mostly remote work, with a requirement to come into our office in central London just once a month. Youll manage a team of 4 developers while being part of a wider software engineering team of 25. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Developer looking to step into a lead role or for a current Lead Developer eager to work in a Greenfield environment. We offer a competitive salary between £80,000 - £90,000 along with private medical and an excellent pension.
