Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Lead Golang Engineer with the following qualifications and skills:
- 5 years of software development experience, including 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Proficiency in Go (Golang).
- A solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring others.
- Experience building SaaS products with a focus on user experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with microservices, event-driven systems, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
- A background in product management or user-centred design is desirable.
- Familiarity with performance optimisation and data modelling is desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of a cutting-edge product focused on improving network operations.
- Define technical architecture and coding standards to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Mentor and manage a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Drive product strategy in partnership with product managers and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve agile processes and development workflows.
- Manage technical debt and ensure robust quality assurance through automated testing.
- Research emerging technologies and integrate them into our platform capabilities.
Description
This position is a full-time permanent role offering a salary between £90,000 and £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
