Requirements
Must:
- Lead and mentor junior and mid-level .NET software developers
- Experience in full-stack development including C#.NET and JavaScript (Vue.js, Angular, React, etc.)
- Proficient in Azure with knowledge of Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, Application Insights, and Key Vault
- Familiar with Agile methodologies, SQL Server, and WebAPI
- Knowledge of modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- A strong preference for back-end development experience, but open to full-stack candidates
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on projects by developing new software solutions to advance the business
- Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions on time and to specification
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement processes and drive efficiencies within the team
- Conduct peer code reviews with junior-level developers
- Uphold good development planning and procedures
- Adhere to industry best practices and coding standards
- Optimize application performance and enhance user experience through innovative development techniques
- Assist junior to mid-level developers as needed
Description
We are excited about the opportunity to add a Lead Full Stack .NET Developer to our growing software engineering team in Preston. This role involves engaging in true full-stack development within an Agile environment, working on new greenfield projects that promise excitement and a chance to challenge one another in coding. If you love coding and want to engage with the business to help define requirements and take ownership of projects, this role is tailored for you. As a Lead, you will have considerable autonomy and be involved in building a brand new system over the next two years, while enjoying a relaxed yet dynamic working environment. We offer a competitive salary between £60,000 and £70,000, along with a strong benefits package and flexibility in the hybrid working model, allowing a maximum of two days in the office.
