Requirements
Must:
- 5 years experience in Full Stack Development, C#.NET, JavaScript & Azure
- Experience with Azure functionalities, including Azure DevOps, Serverless/PaaS focus, and container work
- Proficiency in Azure PaaS (Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure App Service, ARM/Bicep templates)
- Strong DevOps & Agile experience
- Greenfield development experience, with ability to translate loose requirements into effective solutions
- Experience with low-level design work before coding
- Familiarity with generative AI coding tools
- Team lead / People management experience
- Ability to mentor and guide software developers

Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Developers to drive innovation and lead new greenfield software solution development projects
- Engaging in technical development & software solution delivery, focusing on full stack C#/.NET, JavaScript (React), and Azure serverless technologies
- Looking at strategic initiatives, including security tooling, hackathons, and standard libraries
- Managing a team of 4 direct reports
- Approximately 3 days per week spent in hands-on coding
- Operating within a matrix management structure to balance capability and delivery teams
- Leading the creation of new solutions and introducing innovative coding ideas, techniques, and technologies, especially around AI
- Developing software using the .NET platform and Azure
- Managing code updates and ensuring codebase quality
- Providing technical guidance and support to other developers
Description
We are a global finance consultancy looking for a Technical Lead specialized in C# .NET and Azure. This is primarily a remote role, with only one required office visit per month in central London. You will be part of a dynamic Labs team focused on greenfield development, managing a group of 4 developers within a larger software engineering team of 25. We offer a competitive salary between £80,000 - £90,000, private medical insurance, and an excellent pension scheme. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Developer looking to transition into a leadership role or an existing Lead Developer eager to work on innovative projects.
