Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have strong technical skills in the following areas:
- Windows Server Operations (Server 2016 and above)
- Office 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Cloud-based services such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Networking fundamentals including Cisco switch management and routing
- Experience with firewalls such as Cisco and Palo Alto
- Backup software experience, preferably with Veeam
- A good understanding of security standards like Cyber Essentials and ISO27001
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day support for all employees, both onsite and remote
- Administering on-premises and Azure AD, O365, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online
- Troubleshooting issues, managing systems backups, and performing disaster recovery functions
- Configuring and deploying hardware and virtual desktops
- Liaising with third-party suppliers
- Monitoring the network and identifying any hardware issues
- Maintaining up-to-date IT documentation
- Suggesting improvements to enhance the efficient use of technology within the company
