Head of Data Engineering

- Build and manage a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and aligned data solutions for delivering high-quality care. - Lead the design and execution of cloud-based scalable data storage solutions. - Oversee ETL pipeline development and optimization. - Establish and manage data schemas and dictionaries, as well as develop data integration solutions. - Lead data cleansing, validation, and enrichment processes. - Work closely with analysts and software engineers to translate business needs into effective data engineering solutions. - Create comprehensive reports to share findings. - Identify and address performance bottlenecks to optimize data processing and query performance. - Set up monitoring frameworks to ensure data pipeline efficiency. - Ensure data meets scalability and availability targets through performance tuning. - Manage data security, including access controls and encryption to protect sensitive data. - Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations while documenting data engineering processes.
