Head of Data

In this role, you will be building and managing a team of data engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating closely with analysts and software engineers to convert business needs into solid data engineering solutions. - Creating comprehensive reports to share your findings. - Identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing data processing and query performance to ensure scalability. - Setting up monitoring frameworks to track the performance of our data pipeline. - Ensuring data scalability and availability targets are met, which entails performance tuning and implementing measures to keep data running smoothly. - Managing data security through access controls and encryption, ensuring all sensitive data is protected. - Complying with relevant data protection and privacy regulations while documenting engineering processes and configurations. - Leading collaborations with stakeholders to align data services with business requirements.
