Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, working within IT or Business Change for a law firm.
- Ability to work on multiple IT BA projects, including IT Business Change, Systems, Software delivery, or IT Infrastructure.
- Strong capability to bring different areas of the business together, gather requirements, and create viable technical solutions.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to challenge the norm.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong investigative skills to dig for information and identify optimal solutions.
- Accountability and a focus on improving the BA process to enhance efficiency in software and applications.
- Experience working on projects from inception.
- Additional experience in professional services, such as Financial Services, Legal, or Insurance, is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Understand the overall business delivery projects and provide influence and input to ensure smooth operations and satisfaction for all stakeholders.
- Engage with various parts of the business to create functional specifications based on business requirements and liaise with teams to ensure alignment.
- Work on medium to large-scale projects across all areas of the business, including IT, Finance, HR, and software.
- Undertake analysis work for projects, including requirements gathering, creating functional specifications, process mapping, and coordinating user testing.
- Provide concise reporting to key stakeholders and support the delivery of strategic current initiatives.
