Requirements
Must:
- At least 1 year of experience in an IT Support/Systems Administration role
- Proficiency with Operating Systems (Windows, Mac, and Linux)
- Knowledge of network infrastructure
- Experience with M365
- Background in an ITIL environment utilizing a ticketing system
- Ambition to grow and develop in the field
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Scripting/automation experience (ideally PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Interest or knowledge in cybersecurity
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming support tickets (internal and external)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support the Senior Infrastructure Engineer with ongoing projects
- Assist with deployment and customer onboarding
- Set up and maintain system access, user accounts, and laptops

We are offering a salary of up to £32K for someone looking to advance their IT support career while driving forward technological innovation in hardware cyber defense both in the UK and globally. This unique role provides flexibility and numerous opportunities for growth and development.
As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will work closely with the Senior Infrastructure Engineer, directly supporting troubleshooting efforts and managing incoming tickets. Being one of the first boots on the ground, you will have ample opportunity for autonomy and will be encouraged to problem-solve and collaborate. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is passionate about infrastructure, networking, troubleshooting, and delivering outstanding support.
Please note that applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and must live within a commutable distance to Sheffield.
