Must:
We are looking for a driven and self-motivated 3rd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer who is proficient with technologies and hardware, excels in high-pressure environments, and possesses excellent communication skills. You should have extensive knowledge of data laws, along with strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills. A customer-focused approach is essential, as you will be working to understand the underlying needs of our internal and external customers. Since travel across sites will be required, you must have a full driving license and access to a car during working hours.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the effective delivery of IT services across our organization to meet the needs of our key stakeholders. You will lead the promotion of an effective IT service, ensuring that our systems and IT infrastructure are safeguarded against external threats. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional general IT support, along with tasks such as Microsoft/VMware Server installation, Windows deployment, configuration, and upgrading of server/client software and related products. You will also assist in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining our IT network, while maintaining servers and networking devices by proactively detecting and resolving any potential or real issues. Additionally, you will bring a flexible and dynamic approach to support our Head of IT, ensuring that our IT infrastructure is secure and up to date, while being accountable for shared ownership of the team's targets and service standards as agreed.
